Who we are

Centerview Health (“Centerview”, “we”) builds software that medical practices use to run their day-to-day operations — incoming documents, phone calls, appointments, and patient follow-up.

We act in two distinct roles. For the clinic staff who log in and use the product, we are the service provider and this policy describes what we do with their information. For patient information that a clinic processes through our software, the clinic directs what happens and we handle that information on the clinic's behalf, under our written agreement with them.

Messages we send

Where a member of clinic staff provides a mobile number, we use it to send operational messages about work that needs their attention and to answer questions they send us. These are transactional messages about the clinic's own operations. They are not marketing.

  • Frequency varies with how busy the clinic is. There is no fixed number of messages per week.
  • Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them. Reply HELP for help.
  • Message and data rates may apply, depending on the mobile plan.
  • We keep the content of these messages and their delivery receipts as part of the clinic's operational record.

We do not sell or rent mobile numbers. We do not use them for marketing, and we do not share them with third parties for those parties' own marketing. Numbers are shared only with the messaging providers listed below, solely to deliver the messages described here.

What we collect

  • Staff account information — name, work email address, role, and which practice the account belongs to.
  • Staff mobile numbers, where provided, for the messages described above.
  • Product usage — sign-in events and records of actions taken in the product, used to operate and secure it.
  • Clinic and patient information processed on a clinic's behalf — which may include appointments, documents the practice receives, telephone calls and their transcripts, and patient feedback. What is processed depends on which parts of the product a practice uses.

How we use information

We use information to provide, secure, support, and improve the product for the practice that the information belongs to. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use patient information for advertising.

Service providers

We use a small number of vendors to run the service. Each processes information only to provide its service to us.

  • Amazon Web Services — messaging delivery, file storage, and compute.
  • Supabase — database hosting and authentication.
  • Vercel — application hosting.
  • Anthropic and OpenAI — AI processing of documents and text within the product.
  • Browserbase — automated interaction with a practice's existing systems, where the practice has configured it.

Health information

Where we handle protected health information on behalf of a practice, we do so as a business associate under a written agreement with that practice. That agreement governs how the information may be used and disclosed, and it controls if anything in this policy conflicts with it.

Practices that treat children process information about minors through the product. We handle that information the same way — on the practice's instruction and under the same agreement — and never for advertising.

Security

Network traffic is encrypted in transit. Data is stored in managed infrastructure with access scoped per practice at the database layer, so one practice's records are not reachable from another's account. Access by our staff is limited to what is needed to operate and support the service.

How long we keep information

We keep information for as long as the practice's agreement with us is in effect, and we return or delete it afterwards as that agreement requires. Some records are kept longer where the law requires it.

Requests about your information

If you are a patient of a practice that uses Centerview, that practice controls your information — please contact them, and we will support them in responding.

If you are a member of clinic staff, contact us at the address below to access, correct, or delete your account information.

Changes

We will update this page if this policy changes and will revise the effective date above.
